Oh, right… hehe I guess danger is just a part of my life that I forget it poses a threat sometimes. Looks like you can take care of yourself well, though… but I can see where he gets concerned. I know I worry when M’gann and I go out into the field on a mission… :/
Have you ever had any issues with that? Any dangers on missions together?
Plenty of times. Danger’s a big part of our lifestyle but we just wish each other well and hope that we go in alive and come out the same way. We actually had a practice but… that ended horribly. -his face becomes somber and lowers his eyes to his hands-
What happened? If I may ask? [frowns, noticing his somber expression]
[Tony turned around with a smile] Don’t be. It’s okay. You have nothing to apologize for, stop.
[Pepper slowly edged towards the pool and took whatever items Loki wanted to hand her for the dryer. She lay several towels within arm’s reach.]
My cousins used to go swimming in their underwear. Nothing I haven’t seen before, but I’ll leave the towels here, in case you’re a bit more modest than them.
[She threw an amused smile to Tony, before heading back into the house. These clothes could go right to the dryer, unless she could find a one-hour dry cleaner.]
[Sheri groaned, waking up on the couch and rubbing her head. She had vanished some time before Loki had even arrived to the living room to lie down. She had a wicked headache and a touch of lightheaded-ness.]
Must’ve accidentally drank the alcohol instead… [she grumbled, getting up from the couch and heading outside.]
Hey guys, what did I— [She cut off, seeing Tony and what she guess was a stripped down Loki. She quickly turned around and covered her eyes.] Crap. My bad. Sorry, sorry!
